In light of the continued public health and safety concerns surrounding COVID-19, our summer housing program has been cancelled for the duration of summer 2020. Based on the current circumstances, we believe that this is the most prudent course of action to help ensure the safety and well-being of our summer residents, staff and surrounding communities – which is unequivocally our top priority.
Guests with existing reservations will be contacted immediately.
The University will continue distance learning through summer session I and II. There will be no face-to-face undergraduate classes this summer and the return to clinical clerkships, internships, and practicums will be dictated by the stay-at-home orders in D.C. and other parts of the country.
For additional information and updates, visit howard.edu/coronavirus.
At this time, both groups and individual interns may submit a summer housing inquiry for summer 2021 or later. Please access our Summer Housing Inquiry Form or contact us at Howard.SummerHousing@corvias.com for additional information pertaining to a future reservation.
Wishing you continued safety and wellness.
Note: Due to the significant and prolonged uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, our decision to further modify or cancel summer accommodations remains fluid as we seek to serve the best interests of our residents and staff. All guests will be notified immediately of any future changes or modifications.
